besaw's

NEIGHBORHOOD: Northwest District

LOCATION: 1545 NW 21st Ave, Portland, OR 97209

WHY WE LOVE IT: The first establishment to be granted a liquor license in the state of Oregon in the aftermath of prohibition, this ultra authentic atmosphere was once home to many a lumberjack and we like to think it's kept that same spirit of genuine service, good grub and no-nonsense drinks.

rock creek tavern

NEIGHBORHOOD: Hillsboro

LOCATION: 10000 NW Old Cornelius Pass Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97124

WHY WE LOVE IT: We're a sucker for the McMenamins atmosphere, these people definitely know how to purchase and restore amazing, historic buildings and we can't get enough of the old-fashioned character. This location is one of our favorites for a warm beverage, a game of pool or a post-up spot/mobile workstation.

huber's

NEIGHBORHOOD: Downtown

LOCATION: 411 SW 3rd Ave, Portland, OR 97204

WHY WE LOVE IT: One of Portland's oldest restaurant, this establishment was originally opened in 1879 as "The Bureau Saloon". Known for their table side preparation of Spanish coffees, this place likes to present your beverage with flair and we can't scoff at their tasty turkey dinners either.

NEIGHBORHOOD: St. Johns

LOCATION: 8002 N Lombard St, Portland, OR 97203

WHY WE LOVE IT: This awesome local bar just so happens to be in our backyard, so we can personally vouch for the incredible company, casual atmosphere and to-die-for bruschetta. We love sipping our Spanish coffees here on Sunday mornings or taking advantage of their outdoor recreation options in the summer months.
